The competition provides global recognition to the beneficial influence of digital technologies that support sustainable development goals. The awards features five award categories which are: Empowering lives and communities, Innovation for our climate and environment, Promoting economic growth, Building peaceful and inclusive societies, Pioneers – Unlocking ideas from youth between the ages of 18 and 29.
The award targets government and private entities, academics, and youth. The Finalists will be announced on September 1, 2024 and the winners will be informed, and awarded during the SDG Digital event on September 20, 2024, at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
