The Governor, of the Saudi Communications Commission, with the powers he holds, and pursuant to what was stated in the Telecommunications Act, its Bylaw, and the Ordinance of the Saudi Communications Commission, and after reviewing what was stated in Chapter Seven of the Telecommunications, the letters of the Saudi Telecommunications Company, regulatory Affairs No. (117) dated1/9/1423H (corresponding to 6/11/2002) and No. (123) dated 21/9/1423H (corresponding to 26/11/2002) on proposed Tariff to provide paging services and in accordance with the work benefit requirements,
(Decides the following):
Article One:
Approval of the tariffs proposed by the Saudi Telecommunications Company for Paging Services determined to be obtained from the service provisioning contractor "Saudi Routers Company" amounting to S.R. (6000) monthly for every hundred subscribers or part thereof.
Article Two:
The Saudi Telecommunications Company shall be mandated to publish the Tariffs of this service and updates its services Tariffs table pursuant to the Provisions of Article Forty Eight of the Telecommunications Bylaw.
Article Three:
The Saudi Telecommunications Company shall be responsible for achieving quality of service criteria for paging service, interconnection with the paging network.
Article Four:
The approval of Tariffs by the Commission shall not be considered as a License to the service provisioning contractor, Saudi Routers, the service provisioning contractor shall obtain the approval of the other parties concerned for licensing him to submit the information that he will send through this service and the Saudi Telecommunications Company shall ensure that the service provisioning contractor has obtained the necessary approval.
Article Five:
The service provisioning contractor shall be mandated to obtain type approval for telecommunications equipment that will be connected with the Network and terminals from the Saudi communications Commission and the Saudi Telecommunications Company shall ensure that the contractor has obtained the necessary approval.
Article Six:
The service provisioning contractor shall be mandated to allocate the numbers of this service from the numbers band previously allocated to the Company by the Commission, the approval of the Saudi communications Commission shall be obtained In case there is a need for new numbers outside the previously allocated numbers band.
Article Seven:
The Saudi Telecommunications Company and the concerned parties are hereby informed of this decision, which is effective as of the date of its issuance.
