Service Description

CST provides number of services related to ICT equipment  to enable equipment manufacturers and importers verifying the conformity of their equipment with CST technical specifications  before manufacturing or importing them to KSA. CST has developed a system, namely, "ICT Equipment licensing system" to provide all the services related to ICT equipment electronically. The beneficiary parties are able to apply for these services and view the guidelines and requirements through the link (ICT Equipment licensing system). 
The most important services related to ICT equipment are:
  • Customs Clearance Service
    This service enables all importers of ICT equipment in the Kingdom to apply for a Custom clearance permission for restricted ICT equipment. The aim of this service is to facilitate the Custom clearance processes, and accelerate the exchange of data between CST and Customs.
  • Device Approval Service
    This service enables all parties either inside or outside the Kingdom to apply  for device approval to determine the extent of device's conformity with the technical specifications issued by CST.
  • Certificate of Conformity Service
    This service enables parties  to obtain a certificate of conformity directly for the devices previously approved by CST and have been verified to be in conformity with the technical specifications issued by CST.
  • Device Registration Service
    This service enables importers of ICT equipment to apply for equipment registration cards for equipment that have been previously released by CST.
  • Approved Devices Query Service
    This service allows you to query for devices that have been approved by CST.​
  • Requests Query and track Service
    This service allows you to query about the status of your requests in details.
  • Verification of Certificate of Conformity Service
    This service allows you to verify if the certificate of conformity is issued by CST​ or not.
