The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC),
with the powers he holds,
and after reviewing the provisions relating to interconnection in the Telecommunications Act and its Bylaw;
the Interconnection Guidelines issued by the CITC in Decision No. 25/1424 dated 23/9/1424H;
the Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC) Reference Interconnection Offer (RIO) which was approved by the CITC in Decision No. 113/1427, dated 21/03/1427H;
the comments from interested parties on the revised RIO in response to CITC’s Public Consultation published under Public Notice No. 17/1427 dated 18/12/1427H, and STC’s response to the comments of interested parties in their letter 108/TS dated 5/3/1428H, and the results of related benchmarking analysis conducted by the CITC, and discussions and subsequent amendments to the revised RIO;
the final revised RIO submitted by STC with letter 464 dated 3/4/1429;
hereby decides as follows:
Article One
Approval of the final revised RIO submitted by STC with letter no. 464 dated 3/4/1429.
Article Two
Revised tariffs in the RIO approved by this Decision shall apply effective 30 days from the date of this Decision. The revised tariffs for Voice Call Termination shall apply symmetrically to both parties, unless otherwise decided by the CITC in accordance with its statutes
Article Three
STC shall publish the final revised RIO, including all amendments already approved by the CITC, on its web site within 15 days from the date of this Decision.
Article Four
The entire RIO shall be reviewed within one year from the date of this Decision, unless otherwise decided by the CITC in accordance with its statues.
Article Five
This Decision shall be communicated to all concerned parties to act accordingly as of the date of its issuance.
