The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), pursuant to the Telecommunications Act, its Bylaw and the CITC Ordinance, and after reviewing CITC Decision No. (1/1423) and the CITC Decision No. (271/1431) and the Telecommunications sector Market Definition, Designation and Dominance Report (1431/2010),
Hereby decides as follows
Article One
The following telecommunications markets are designated as being competitive and not subject to dominance:
- Retail international voice call services
- Retail national mobile services
- Wholesale national roaming services
- Wholesale international voice call Services
Article Two
Dominant and non-dominant service providers in both competitive markets and markets subject to dominance shall continue to comply with the regulatory requirements that are applicable to service providers irrespective of the presence of dominance in such markets. Such regulatory requirements include, but not are limited to, Terms of Service, Quality of Service, submission of applications for tariff approval, provision of tariff and any other information to customers and protection of customers' personal information…etc.
Article Three
This decision shall be communicated to all parties concerned to act accordingly within three (3) months from the date of its issuance.
