The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, with the powers he holds, and pursuant to what was stated in the Telecommunications Act, its Bylaw and the Ordinance of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, after reviewing what was stated in Chapter Seven of the Telecommunications Bylaw, and to what was stated in the letter of Saudi Telecommunications Company No. (2173) dated 08/11/1424H requesting approval for provisioning a new service of the fixed telephone services under the name (Prepaid Fixed Line) and making some amendments on item No. (10.1.1) for the Basic services as was stated in the above mentioned letter of the Company and in accordance with the work benefit requirements.
(Decides the following):
Article One:
- Approval for the Saudi Telecommunications Company to provide Prepaid Fixed Line Service, in accordance with the attached Tariffs and also approval for amendment of Item (10.1.1) for the Basic services and adding the word (each) under this Item as was stated in the attached Tariffs page
- Deletion of the phrase (360 S.R.) from the phraseSubscription/Year in the attached proposed tariffs page
Article Two:
The Saudi Telecommunications Company shall be mandated to publish the approved amendments pursuant to the Terms of Article Forty Eight of the Telecommunications Bylaw.
Article Three:
This Decision shall be communicated to the Saudi Telecommunications Company and the concerned parties to act according to it from the date of its issuance.
