Pursuant to what is stated in third article of the Telecommunications Act approved by the Royal Decree No (M/12) dated 12/03/1422H including that the Telecommunications Sector shall be regulated to provide advanced and adequate telecommunications services and to safeguard the public interest and the user interest, and pursuant to what is stated in the Telecommunications Act Bylaw, and the Ordinance of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC).
And in accordance with CITC Board of Directors decision No. (7-134-2018) dated of 12/9/1439H corresponding to 27/5/2018 related to the Quality of Service Framework.
it has been decided:
First:
Approval of Quality of Service Framework, in the form attached to this decision.
Second:
This framework replaces “Quality of Service Scheme for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” issued by decision No. (229/1430) dated of 10/04/1430H and the Regulatory Framework related to Quality of Services issued by decision No. (141/1427) dated of 17/09/1427H and Quality of Service Indications Services issued by decision No. (24/1424) dated of 13/10/1424H.
Third:
This decision shall be communicated to licensed service providers to act in accordingly, starting from 21/01/1440H corresponding to 01/10/2018.
