The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), pursuant to what was stated in the Telecommunications Act, its Bylaw and the Ordinance of the Communications and Information Technology Commission after reviewing what was stated in Chapter Seven of the Telecommunications Bylaw, and to what was stated in the letter of Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC) No. 1216, dated 5/7/1426H, regarding the approval of the AL JAWAL Location Based Services;
Hereby decides as follows:
Article One
Approval of the AL JAWAL Location Based Services according to the tariffs set out in Appendix (1), and of activating the service to all Al JAWAL subscribers upon request, and that no subscriber may not to specify the location of another subscriber without the consent of the subscriber whose location or position is to be located.
Article Two
STC shall publish the above required amendments pursuant to Article Forty Eight of the Telecommunications Bylaw.
Article Three
This Decision shall be communicated to STC and other concerned parties to act accordingly.
