SaudiNIC finished processing all the requests received during the sunrise period of the second level domains (2LD) registration. All the approved requests have been delegated and are registered with SaudiNIC, ready to be used . The total number of requests was 1076 requests were received during the sunrise phase. 683 requests received were accepted and qualified for the sunrise phase. After studying all those requests, SaudiNIC delegated 669 domains which met all requirements, and they became fully registered starting from Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
