CITC, in partnership with the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the Command and Control Centre at the Ministry of Interior, is pleased to announce the launch of a Search & Rescue Service program through satellite.
This program is designed to provide notification of emergency and location data to concerned authorities through a navigational beacon used by aircraft, vehicles and ships. Signals transmitted through these beacons enable determination of the sender’s identity and location.
CITC urges persons to subscribe to this service through licensed vendors, and to fill out the request form, which must be signed by both the vendor and the subscriber.
