As a part of a series of close inspection visits, His Excellency the Governor of Communications and information technology Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Alruwais, conducted a visit to Jeddah Islamic Port. The visit aims at ensuring the total readiness of the principal sites in each of Mecca, the Holy Places as well as Medina to receive the guests of Allah for Hajj season 1440-2019. The visit has also included all the air, sea and land ports based in each of the concerned regions.
During the visit H.E. met the General Director of Jeddah Islamic Port, Captain Abdullah bin Awad Al-Zama, and had a close follow on the preparations of telecommunication companies and the types of services provided this year.  The focal preparation procedures also include the readiness of the airport stores to receive millions of pilgrims and provide them with highest quality services.
As part of the CITC’s intense effort to achieve high infrastructure development during Hajj seasons, CITC provides (21) 4G cell tower, compared to only (17) last year.
