In cooperation with the Information and Communications Technology Committee of the Riyadh Chamber and presented by Mr. Ian Glover, CEO of the Global Advisory Council for Security and Information Technology (CREST), the CITC held a lecture titled "Building the National Capacity of Individuals and Companies”, aimed at developing expertise in the field of information security.

 

During the lecture, Mr. Ian Glover analyzed global information security trends and best practices, before going on to discuss the key activities and objectives required for organizations and individuals to build information security expertise.

The lecture comes as a part of an ongoing exchange of knowledge and experience between the CITC and leading international organizations aimed at developing the telecommunications and information technology sector in Saudi Arabia and promoting global investment opportunities.

CREST is a non-profit organization that provides internationally-recognized credits and certifications in a number of information security competencies, including disclosure of breaches, incident response, and cyber threats.
