The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monshaat" to support and motivate small and medium enterprises to invest in delivery applications and enter the experimental regulatory environment for delivery applications (Sandbox).
The agreement was signed by CITC assistant deputy governor for postal services, Abdulrahman Al-Mubarak, and Monshaat vice governor for SME services Eng. Rayan AlFayez.
The agreement included cooperating with credit and finance companies to develop programs for SMEs operating in the delivery sector, a qualifications program for investors through Monshaat Academy, which provides a series of programs, worships, and consultations.
The agreement will also enable applications to benefit from the services of Thakaa center specialized in Internet and Things (IoT), data analysis, and artificial intelligence according to Monshaat's adopted mechanisms.
Earlier, the CITC launched a regulatory sandbox for delivery applications to support and enable delivery applications operationally. It also supports a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in a regulated and safe environment offering an attractive and sustainable investment climate.
