The Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) announced the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) as the winner of the Platinum Game Operator in 2023, as H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saud Altamimi, the Governor of CST, has presented the award to the CEO of Saudi Telecom Group. The awarding ceremony took place on the main stage of LEAP24 which is being held in Riyadh from 4 to 7 March 2024.
CST stated that STC’s achievement came as a result of maintaining the highest rate in several criteria, including: hosting online games locally, and reducing latency for the most popular online games. In addition to offering gaming-friendly packages, and providing technical and awareness support for players.
It is worth noting that this award is part of CST’s Game Mode initiative that aims at enhancing the services’ quality, improving user experience, and increasing the market’s transparency by publishing reports and indicators. In addition to enabling investors and interested parties to view the Saudi market performance indicators.
