The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has called on the public to vote for Saudi projects competing to win the ITU-sponsored World Summit on the Information Society prizes (WSIS 2024), seeking to support national projects, and achieve a sustainable and prosperous digital economy for all.
CST stated that Saudi Arabia participated with 31 national project, from over 20 public and private entities.
The voting is available until 31 of March 2024, via the
ITU website.
It is worth noting that WSIS is an annual event organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to promote ICT projects contributing at achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals. Saudi Arabia won 13 awards and 35 certificates of excellence.
