The Governor of the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), Dr. Mohammed Altamimi, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and the Prime Minister on the conclusion of another successful Hajj season, with the follow-up of H.E Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the CST’s Board of Directors. 
Altamimi also stated that this year saw a significant increase in pilgrims using ICT services, while Hajj preparations and plans exceeded expectations in fulfilling the demand through collaboration with telecom companies and government and private entities related to the Hajj season, noting that the industry's solid infrastructure facilitated the Hajj journey for pilgrims by enabling the latest technologies to provide them with high quality services.
H.E. added that the ICT sector is actively realizing the leadership’s aspirations of enabling pilgrims to fulfill their Hajj easily, highlighting the collaborative efforts of industry partners to promote the pilgrims experience by providing high download speed through its technical preparations and human cadres, as well as facilitating the pilgrims’  local and international calls to ensure a smooth Hajj.   

H.E. commended the outstanding work done by the industry’s staff and entities, both governmental and private sector, whose contributions were crucial to the success of this hajj season’s operational plan. then concluded his statement by congratulating the pilgrims and wishing them a safe return to their loved ones, and to bestow upon our country stability and safety.
