The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) in support of its goal to improve the quality and penetration of ICT services, to encourage lower costs, improve customer care and increase job opportunities for citizens, recently announced the licensing of MVNOs to be hosted on the STC and Mobily mobile cellular networks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
CITC is pleased to announce that it has published the RFA document inviting applications for licensing Mobile Virtual Network Operator Services on Zain’s mobile cellular network and details are available for download from the Commission’s website on the Internet (www.citc.gov.sa).
This document contains the criteria, conditions, timeframe and procedures for submitting applications for new licenses to provide Mobile Virtual Network Operator Services as well as the evaluation criteria to be applied to those applications to select the successful applicants.
The Commission invites all interested parties to visit the CITC website to obtain this document, for news updates, and to submit their applications for licenses no later than 03:00PM on Thursday 28/10/1436H, corresponding to 13/08/2015G in accordance with the requirements set out in the published document.
