Public Consultation Document on the Proposed Regulation of Cloud Computing
The goals of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) include promoting competition, protecting the interests of users, and encouraging the provision of reliable and affordable communications and information technology services.
In pursuit of these goals, CITC is pleased to announce that it has published a Public Consultation document on the proposed Regulation for Cloud Computing and invites all members of the public, including individuals, public organizations and commercial entities (together, the “Participants”) to participate in this process.
The consultation document includes a series of questions to provide structure to the process. Participants are invited to provide answers to these questions along with any related comments. CITC encourages Participants to support their comments with relevant data, analysis, benchmarking studies and information. CITC is under no obligation to adopt the comments of any Participant.
All comments must be received by CITC no later than 2.00 p.m. on 17/12/1437 H, corresponding to 18/9/2016.
