Based on the Communications and Information Technology Commission’s (CITC) role in developing ICT services and provide high-quality telecommunications services to subscribers. In pursuit of these goals and to improve the current status of Internet services over fixed telecommunications networks, the CITC is pleased to announce that it has published a Public Consultation document on the draft of "Regulations of the minimum Internet speed over fixed telecommunications networks" and invites all members of the public, including individuals, public organizations and commercial entities (together, the “Participants”) to participate in this process. Participants are invited to provide their views. CITC encourages Participants to support their comments with relevant data, analysis, benchmarking studies and information. CITC is under no obligation to adopt the comments of any Participant.
All views/comments shall be send to CITC no later than Saturday, 19/10 /1440H, corresponding to 22/06/2019 at 3:00 pm to one of the following addresses:
