Communication and Information Technology Commission is seeking based on Telecom Act, Bylaw and its Ordinance to safeguard the public and users interests as well as maintain the confidentiality and security of telecommunications information through providing best quality and security standards.
The crucial needs to mitigate cybersecurity risks of ICT services because they are essential part of Kingdom infrastructure and one of the main pillars of economic growth, thus CITC is developing Cybersecurity Regulatory Framework for the ICT Sector.
CITC is keen to benefit from the participation of the public and is requesting comments from interested parties who wish to express their opinions and share expertise as input. All members of the public are invited to participate in this process by providing their views. CITC encourages Participants to support their comments with relevant data, analysis, benchmarking studies and information. CITC is under no obligation to adopt the comments of any Participant.
