Introduction:
Pursuant to the powers granted to the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) under its Statutes and to establish transparency, the Commission intends to commence a public consultation to solicit the public comments as to the Saudi Telecommunications Company's (STC) proposal to cease providing some or all radio paging services in 2005. The Commission has prepared the
attached Document to be acquainted with the views and comments of all interested parties in regard to aspects related to the consultancy mentioned in this public notice.
Required comments:
The CITC considers the participation of the interested parties in this process to be an important aspect before launching its initiative related to the Saudi Society, therefore the CITC invites the public to provide it with their comments in regard to all the subjects to be discussed in this document "Saudi Telecommunications Company's Proposal to Cease Providing Radio Paging Services". The CITC specifically requests obtaining comments and answers for the questions (consultancy) stated in the Document.
Parties are invited to provide detailed comments, wherever possible, and to provide relevant data, analysis, information or experience from other countries to support their comments.
In providing their comments, parties are requested to indicate the number of the question (s) to which their comment relates, and which is included in this Document. Please provide the number (s) to which your comment relates, even if you do not comment on all questions. The CITC encourages provision of detailed answers to the questions drawn in this Document.
Whereas the Commission will consider the comments in its deliberations, they are not binding on the Commission. The submitted inputs and documents will become the property of Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC). The CITC requests participants to provide detailed contacts reflecting in the name, address, telephone number (s) and the e-mail.
