Introduction:
In the course of progressive liberalization of the communications sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("Kingdom"), and according to the Telecommunications Act, the Telecommunications Bylaw and the Ordinances of the Communications and Information Technology Commission ("CITC"), the Commission hereby solicits public comments on licensing of Mobile Broadband Satellite Services in the Kingdom in 1426H/2005.
The purpose of this public consultation is for the CITC to invite all the interested parties to give their views and comments on all licensing and regulation issues of Mobile Broadband Satellite Services.
Request for Public Comments:
The CITC invites concerned parties to provide comments which will be applied for licensing Mobile Broadband Satellite Services in the Kingdom. In particular, a document entitled "
Licensing of Mobile Broadband Satellite Services" is being released at the same time with this Public Notice to provide background information on all related issues of providing Mobile Broadband Satellite Services. A timetable for the submission of comments is set out in the public consultation document.
